RECOVERY MANUAL
SESSION

$90 / 30 min

This 30 minute hands-on session is perfect for muscle tension, joint stiffness, or recovery from working out. Unlike traditional massage, I approach the body from a physical therapy lens, it's not just about relief, but helping your body move and function better long-term.

Manual Therapy Treatments

In addition to your prescribed exercise program, each physical therapy session includes individualized manual therapy treatments. Depending on the diagnosis, we also utilize the following techniques to further promote recovery and manage pain.

Cupping

Cupping

Cupping is a therapeutic technique used in physical therapy to help relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote healing. By creating gentle suction on the skin, cupping can reduce pain, release tight fascia and muscle tissue, and enhance mobility. It’s often used to support recovery from overuse injuries, chronic pain, or general muscle stiffness, and many patients find it both effective and relaxing.

IASTM

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a technique used in physical therapy to help break down scar tissue after surgeries, reduce muscle tightness, and improve mobility. Using specialized tools, your therapist applies targeted pressure to soft tissues, which helps stimulate healing, reduce pain, and restore normal movement patterns. It’s especially helpful for treating chronic tightness, tendonitis, and post-surgical stiffness.

Knee Therapy Tape Application

Strapping

Kinesiotape is a stretchy, breathable tape applied to the skin to support muscles and joints without limiting movement. In physical therapy, it’s used to help reduce pain, decrease swelling, improve circulation, and enhance body awareness during movement. Whether recovering from injury or managing chronic discomfort, kinesiotape can be a helpful tool to support your body between sessions.
